What to consider for a laser cut or engrave?

  • Size

The first thing you will want to consider before any cut or engrave is the work area. There are 2 work areas:

    Standard: 49.8cm (19.60in) × 30.70cm (12.08in)
    Extended: 47cm (18.5in) × 300cm (118.11in)

We recommend leaving a margin of at least 1cm in all directions for an optimal work.

  • File

You can prepare your files in the software of your choosing.

Just send a clean vector file in any of the supported formats with the correct scale and well handle the rest.

Supported formats: .svg, .ai, .eps y .xcs.

  • Material

Next are the materials we are able to work with as well as their options. It is indicated in parenthesis the maximum thickness at which the material can be cut, after that it can only be engraved.

    CUT AND ENGRAVE

    MDF (1cm), triplay (1cm), boards (1cm), opaque acrylic (6mm), cardboard (1cm), vinyl (3mm), leather (3mm), foamboard (3cm), EVA foam (3cm), woods (3mm).

JUST ENGRAVE: Transparent acrylic, crystal, metal, marble, stone.

  • Quantity

When ordering laser cuts or engraves have in mind that the minimum sale due to electricity and time is $80.°° MXN which is why if you are ordering small pieces it is recommended to request more than one.

Orders of multiple copies of the same piece can apply for a wholesale discount starting from 5 pieces if the individual cost is above $90.°° MXN or above 10 pieces if the individual cost is above $30.°° MXN.

Our Services

  • 3D Printing (MSLA)

By using state-of-the-art high resolution MSLA printers, Nexfaria prints can achieve a precision of 0.00125mm in the Z axis with a layer height of 0.01-0.2mm and a resolution of 0.035mm in the X and Y axis.

Choose between a wide selection of resins: Standard (Elegoo ABS-Like 3.0), Flexible Transparent (Siraya Tech Tenacious Clear), Elastic Bio-Compatible Transparent (3DMaterials SuperElastic), Combined (Estándar + Flexible), Other/Special (on request).

Masked Stereolithography Apparatus or MSLA printing allows for extremely high detail accuracy and faster printing times compared to Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D Printers.

  • Laser Cutting and Engraving

Our 20W diode laser cutter has a base working area of 60.93cm (23.93in) by 38.50cm (15.16cm) and an extended working area of 47cm (18.5in) by 300cm (118.11in). It is also capable of engraving on curved surfaces and cylinders.

It is capable of working with the following materials:

Cutting and Engraving: MDF, triplay, boards, cardboard, opaque acrylic, vinyl, leather, foamboard.

Only engraving: Transparent acrylic, crystal, steel, marble, stone.

  • 3D Printing (FDM)*

    *COMING SOON

FDM or Fused Deposition Modeling 3D Printers, work by extruding thermoplastic filaments through a heated nozzle layer by layer. While less precise than MSLA printers in terms of details, FDM 3D printers are well-suited for bigger sized parts and basic proof-of-concept models with lower-cost materials.
